The first local projects in Siem Reap are already in the order book.

Ikigai bamboo will build a test greenhouse, when the solution for this construction is developed and tested, this design will be able to compete with current metal greenhouse solutions, materials can be found locally and make it possible for even the very small farms to increase their productivity, for their own consumption or even sell and raise individual living standards. Start date 1/4/25

Ikigai bamboo has also undertaken to design a pig pen for an Australian non-profit organization that provides pigs to villages, Ikigai will provide this design free of charge to the organization, as well as a manual so that the villager can harvest, process and build the bamboo pig pen himself. This project started 1/2/25 and is in the design and testing phase.

Ikigai Bamboo has also been commissioned to build a "bar" for a local association that provides support for stray dogs. start 15/3/25
